Setting Up Employees for Remote Punching Follow
With uAttend Staffing, you have a variety of options to enable your employees to punch remotely, whether they use the smartphone app, web portal, or timeclocks. Each option offers flexibility and functionality tailored to different work environments.

Punching Remotely with the Smartphone App
If your employees have access to a smartphone, you can set them up to punch with our free mobile app. The app is included with your subscription and offers a robust solution for tracking time on the go. Download the uAttend Staffing mobile app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
The following information is needed for employees to successfully login to the uAttend Staffing App:
- Master Console Site Name: You can locate this information in the Master Console.
- A PIN: Set up a unique four-digit PIN in the employee's profile in the System Access section.
Employees must have internet access and location services enabled on their smartphones to use the app.

Additional Settings and Requirements
- Add the employee's email address to their profile. This allows the employee to get the site name emailed to them if they do not remember it.
- Set up geolocation restrictions to prevent employees from punching outside specific addresses.
Punching Remotely Using the Web Portal
If your employees have access to a computer and an email address, you can set them up to punch through the web portal.
Steps to Set Up Punching in the Web Portal:
- Create a Username and Password in the System Access section of the employee's profile.
- Add the employee's Email in the Overview section of the employee's profile. Each user must have a unique email address.

- View and approve timecards (if enabled)

- You can set up IP restrictions to prevent employees from punching outside specific addresses.
Punching Remotely Using a Time Clock
For remote sites with access to electricity and a network (Wi-Fi or LAN), you can set up a timeclock. Timeclocks offer a reliable option for tracking employee punches at remote locations. Our timeclocks are ideal for indoor use making them perfect for remote offices or similar job sites.
